You Own the Experience.

We know first hand the personal impact and fulfillment that a full-cycle outdoor adventure can bring. We feel that traditional guiding services fall short by taking away critical elements and ownership of the experience.

At Two Pines, our expedition leaders facilitate an experience, but each team member is responsible for contributing throughout the life-cycle of the adventure. From initial planning to safe return home, members "own" their experience.

Expedition Leaders, Not Guides.

We are not a traditional guiding service. In fact, we don't consider ourselves us a guiding service at all. At Two Pines, we believe that adventures are enriched when everyone embraces self-sufficiency and actively contributes to the overall success of the team and its mission.

That's why we evaluate each expedition applicant holistically, to determine the probability of their contributing to the overall success and vision of our organization, before offering them a position on one of our expeditions.

We will train you on the skills necessary to be successful on your trip.

Louder than words.

Unlike traditional guiding services, every expedition we lead is dedicated to individual growth and the health of the communities they represent. We believe that we have the responsibility not only to raise awareness of important social issues, but provide a method for individuals to take action and effect change.

Flow Psychology.

Studies by the Flow Genome Project have led to powerful insight about the positive effects we experience through immersive stimuli. Even more interesting is our ability to use flow psychology to treat ourselves to a heightened sense of awareness and become essentially, limitless.

flow cycle.

Herbert Benson laid the groundwork for the study of flow through his work with mind-body medicine. The Flow Genome Project has drawn from that work a model for understanding how flow works in a cycle of struggle, release, and recovery.

Change your world through Flow.

At Two Pines, our aim is to provide authentic experiences that connect you to activities that induce a flow state. We link those activities to Advocacy Initiatives designed to generate impactful awareness about social issues. Our Nexus Expeditions are about more than personal achievement; they provide a compelling narrative for communities and socially responsible companies worldwide.
